How we use information
We use personal data to process and fulfil orders; calculate and arrange delivery; take and reconcile payment; provide poultry products, farm-setup and support services; manage returns, warranties and customer enquiries; prevent fraud and protect our website; maintain business and tax records; improve our services; measure website performance; and, where permitted or consented to, send relevant marketing communications.
We process information where it is needed to perform a contract with you, comply with law, protect legitimate business and security interests, or where you have given consent. You may withdraw consent to optional marketing at any time.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our WordPress and WooCommerce website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functions such as the cart, checkout, security and account login. With any consent required by applicable law, we may also use analytics and advertising services, including Google services and integrations from Meta or TikTok, to understand site use and measure campaigns. You can control non-essential cookies through available consent settings and your browser. Blocking essential cookies may prevent checkout or account features from working.
Who we share information with
We share only what is reasonably necessary with service providers that help us operate, including website hosting and security providers, WooCommerce and WordPress service providers, payment processors such as Paystack, delivery and logistics providers, communications providers, analytics or advertising platforms where enabled, professional advisers and public authorities where required by law. We do not sell customers’ contact information.
Some providers may process data outside Ghana. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate contractual, organisational or other safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.
How long we keep information
We keep order, payment and accounting records for the period required for legal, tax, warranty, fraud-prevention and business-record purposes. Enquiries and support records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the matter and maintain an appropriate record. Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent or it is no longer needed. Technical logs and analytics data are retained according to operational need and the settings of the relevant service.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted website connections, restricted access, backups and security monitoring. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access or correct your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, request deletion where there is no overriding obligation to retain the data, or complain about how your data is handled. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
